I just wanted to add some additional comments in that the Yogaswami Boy's Home, affectionately called the Nalvar Illam, is a worthwhile cause to support. The young boy's there in the home are striving to be raised with traditional values and care surrounded by much violence and political strife there in the Northern part of Sri Lanka. It is something that most of us take for granted living in a relatively peaceful environment with parents and family all around to provide the much needed support and examples for youth to thrive under. There are notably many causes and projects for one to be involved with but what could be more important than the upbringing of children in a manner of love and compassion so that they are equipped to go out into the worlds as adults and lead a positive example of what truly can be done with tolerance, traditional values and caring for each other.

Current Project Needs

We are in the process of defining the scope of a project to construct and build a barrier wall around the Nalvar Illam property that serves as a protection against stray animals and the social unrest that continues to go on in the northern part of Sri Lanka.
